On 4th May 2021, I paused for a moment before replying, but they just ended the call. Later that day, a call came from a Glasgow area code (01416486075), and it was the exact same situation. I've since blocked both of those numbers.

Got a call about 2pm today but ignored it cos it popped up as possible scam. After seeing what others said, glad I didn’t pick up. Seriously, why can’t they have tougher rules for these calls? The phone companies really need to do more about this.

The woman keeps switching the last 4 digits on the caller ID - like 6072, 6075, 6076, stuff like that. My phone labels them as Possible Scam or Spam Caller. They’re pretty persistent, not sure when they’ll stop. Bet they’ll ring again tomorrow using some other number. They claim it’s about broadband stuff. I just tell them I’m not bothered, then hang up straight away.
