I picked up to see how they even got hold of my number. The guy claimed to be from an energy firm and said they found my info in a database because I pay for our electric and gas. Thing is, all that account stuff is under my wife's name, not mine. Then after a bit, he told me he needed to keep me on the call so they could supposedly hack into my phone and nick my contacts and bank info. Honestly, watch out folks, it’s a proper scam.
