This number has rang me twice, once yesterday and then again this morning. I didn't pick up, just ended the call straight away. I keep getting calls from different numbers, all saying stuff like wanting to sell me a new washing machine or helping me lower my electricity and water bills. I told them to stop calling cause I'm only renting and don’t need any of that. Now it looks like this number is back bothering me again after ages.

Got a cold caller trying to sell me a cheaper energy tariff, already had some of my personal info. When I said I don't deal with cold calls, they kept pushing me to stay on the line and chat. The person sounded South African and there was lots of background noise like a call centre. I ended the call pretty quick. Feels dodgy, like a scam. They usually try to get you to spill some personal info first, then use that to gradually get your account details. Sounds like a classic scam setup to me.

Looks like loads of folks reckon it’s either a pestering call or some dodgy energy scam. Providers rarely phone after 7pm, so I’m convinced it’s just another spam call.
