2 yearsReceived a call supposedly from O2, but it was evidently a call centre operation from abroad. There was a noticeable lag and the quality of the connection was dreadful. The chap on the line struggled with English and claimed he was after some feedback about customer satisfaction. Out of nowhere, he then dangles a 30% discount on my bills. I decided to humor him for a bit, just to pass the time as they do with me. He eventually transferred me to another individual who spoke even more poorly. This one started probing me for personal information to 'validate' the discount. I requested that he at least share my name since he was the one ringing me up, but he just rambled on about "security measures." When I pressed him to reveal even my first name, he kept mumbling and avoiding the question.
