4 yearsI got a call from someone saying they were from Amazon about fraud. They told me to download an app from the app store that lets them control your phone remotely. Apparently, they said some dodgy Amazon account had been set up and orders worth £799 had been made. They wanted to send me a code to put in the app so they could cancel everything and give me a refund. I pretended to be interested and kept chatting with them while checking my bank and Amazon accounts.
