Got calls every day from different 0141 numbers, supposedly from some company offering a free home check for windows and heating. They kept asking for my teenage son, who’s 16. When I asked for their website, they couldn’t give me any info. Something about it just felt off, like a complete con. Avoid them!

I got a call from a woman who kept going on about some insurance for fixing my home appliances. I asked her to explain what she meant, and she mentioned TV repair insurance. I told her to find a real job and stop bothering me, then she just ended the call. Definitely one of those scam calls.
