A couple of days ago, my phone rang from this number claiming to represent HMRC, with a certain Jennifer Coleman on the line. She warned us about a 'grave lawsuit filed against you'. Furthermore, it was supposedly urgent and demanded we respond immediately upon receiving the call, or we’d face 'harsh and unwelcome legal repercussions'. Quite oddly, the call concluded with a ‘God bless, have a lovely day!’ to top it off! I can't help but feel concerned that this could alarm elderly or more susceptible individuals out there.

I received a rather menacing phone call.

Received a rather dubious automated call from Officer Jennifer Coleman purporting to be from HMRC, concerning a lawsuit that apparently requires my urgent attention. The way it was signed off with “have a blessed day” seemed quite fishy, and the vagueness surrounding the details of this supposed lawsuit-especially since it wasn’t addressed to me by name-only deepens my suspicion that this is a scam.
