If someone rings claiming to be from Microsoft, just hang up straight away. It’s definitely a con! They threaten to lock your computer if you don’t pay. Luckily my mate next door knew what to do and helped me sort it out.

Got a call about my computer having Microsoft security viruses. They said they could fix it but only if I paid up! Total scam, avoid these guys!

Got a call from some tech support about my Windows 10 login screen, but it was a complete scam. They tricked me into thinking my PC was infected, but actually, it caught a Trojan virus that ended up locking everything. The only fix was wiping the whole thing clean and doing a full restore. Total nightmare.
