I strongly advise against engaging with anyone who claims to be from Microsoft over the phone - just hang up! It's definitely a con! They often threaten to lock your computer if you don't cough up cash. Fortunately, my neighbour was able to help me out of that sticky situation.

Got a call about my computer having Microsoft security viruses. They said they could fix it but only if I paid up! Total scam, avoid these guys!

Received a call from a number that claimed to be tech support while I was at the Windows 10 login screen. I suspect it's a complete scam. My computer seems to be infected with a Trojan virus, which has now locked everything down. The only solution appears to be a full system restore.
