Some bloke said he was from HMRC, told me I owed the government money and used some really dodgy language. Then he warned that the police would be at my door in 45 minutes to arrest me. I asked why he hadn’t sent anything in writing, and he just said the cops would be coming soon. I couldn’t help but laugh, and then he started swearing at me! I just ended the call. Definitely block these idiots!!

Got a call saying they were from HMRC and threatened me with court action if I didnt ring them back. The person lied about their name and said they were a detective from the inland revenue. Ive reported it to the police.

Yesterday, I received a call from the number 01416289734, claiming to be from Microsoft. It was a right load of nonsense! They wanted me to switch on my computer, saying their manager would join to guide me through supposed issues with my Microsoft account. Honestly, what a nuisance! I’m well aware that Microsoft doesn't make unsolicited calls, so it’s clear they’re just trying to con people. Total scammers, that lot!
