I got a call from 0141 628 2046, a landline, earlier today. The person claimed to be from Revolut’s fraud team and said there was some dodgy activity on my account around 1:40 pm. They told me the transaction was declined but were pushing that I should buy insurance for all my bank accounts for safety. Something felt off, so I put the phone on speaker and told them my husband was there listening too. Right after that, they just ended the call. I tried calling them back straight away but they ignored me.

I got a call about some bank fraud stuff and played along for nearly 15 minutes, fully aware they were scammers. When I told them some of their questions didn’t sound right for a real bank and said I’d report the number, they just cut me off straight away.
