I got a call from 0141 055 9376 around 7:40 this morning and it ended up waking my little ones, a baby and a toddler. The caller was pretending to be from HMRC and was pushy about getting all my info straight away. Seems like it’s coming from somewhere near Gateshead, UK.

I’m not completely certain it was this exact number since it vanished when I ended the call, but it was definitely an 0141. The person on the line told me my Amazon Prime subscription was about to renew for £79.99 and to press one to renew or two if I had questions. I just hung up straight away because I pay every month, so I figured it was dodgy, plus it wasn’t due for renewal anytime soon. Over the past 3 or 4 months, I’ve had like 6 or 7 calls from them. Proper pain in the neck!

‭0141 154 4097‬ just rang me claiming to be from HM Revenue and Customs about some fraud issue. They wanted to know my name, but I told them I wasn’t sure why they were calling and that I don’t even know them.
