I've been getting calls almost every day for the past week from someone claiming to be TalkTalk tech support. They asked to get into my computer but went quiet when I asked them to prove their identity. Pretty sure they're up to no good.

best bet is to act like youre interested but dont switch on the computer. while you keep them talking, they cant bother anyone who might be more vunerable. sure, they’ll keep calling but just have a bit of fun with it. this trick works great on all those cold callers.

Got a call on my landline from someone pretending to be from TalkTalk, saying they need to fix a problem with my computer. When I asked them for the name of the customer they were trying to reach, they just hung up. This was the second time today the same person called, but from two different landline numbers. Total scammer!

I have no idea how these scammers managed to get hold of my number even though it’s withheld. The cheek of it!

During the brief time I was at home, I received three calls yesterday and another two today, yet not a single person uttered a word. Quite peculiar, isn't it?

Absolutely awful experience! Got a call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, but then they remotely accessed my laptop and attempted to scam me out of money through a Western Union transfer. There was a woman with an Indian accent and a bloke she said was her “supervisor”. Please be careful and just hang up if you get a call like this, block the number, and definitely report it to TalkTalk!

I received a call roughly thirty minutes ago from someone who claimed to be from TalkTalk, insisting they could solve some computer issues. We do have a TalkTalk phone line, but we don’t actually use their broadband service at all.

Got a call from someone who sounded Asian, claiming to be from TalkTalk. Just so you know, TalkTalk never rings their customers out of the blue. Pretty sure it was a scam, so I've blocked the number now.

Yesterday I got calls like five times, every time no one said a word, just loads of crackles and then some robot voice saying goodbye. This morning a similar thing happened, but this time the caller actually said hello before the line got all crackly and they hung up. Honestly, it's no surprise most folks avoid picking up their landlines nowadays. It's so frustrating!

Yesterday, I received no fewer than five calls from this number, yet each time, all I got was silence before they hung up. To top it off, I woke up this morning to find that they had tried again. They did manage to utter a ‘hello’ this time but promptly disconnected straight after. It’s becoming rather bothersome!

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming she could sort out my computer issues - total scam! When I told her she was just a dodgy scammer, she didn’t sound too pleased, to say the least. Typical TalkTalk style nonsense.

Got a call from an Asian lady telling me there’s an issue with my router, but I’m no longer a TalkTalk user. I told her straight up to tell her manager to shove it. Honestly, I’m fed up with them ringing me all the time.

I got two calls from this number today. Both times, after a bit of quiet, a recorded voice just said "goodbye" and then hung up. Never come across a call like this before, pretty weird.
