On 7th Feb I got a call from a 0141 number, which is Glasgow I think. The automated voice claimed £300 had been withdrawn from my account, and even mentioned £3,000 taken from a foreign bank. It was clearly a con, but still gave me a fright because it seemed more real sounding, especially coming from a local-looking number. Pretty dodgy call!
