If some company is asking for £225 before even considering a loan, it definitely rings alarm bells. Seems more like a con to me. Honestly, you'd probably be better off spending that cash on some proper English and spelling classes!

Hello, my wife applied for a loan recently and about 20 minutes later she got a call from 0141 5360478. They told her everything was fine but asked for a guarantor. She said she couldn’t provide one. Then, a man called Jony told her to buy a Tesco card worth £225. She did that and the loan money was deposited into her account. Two days later, we got a letter with instructions about sending the card with the £225 value. We’re not sure if this is legit or a scam, so I’m writing here hoping someone can help. Thanks a lot in advance!
