Got a call from Michelle at the Windows Company, asked if I have any windows older than 10 years. Then this guy, Stuart from Home Savings Centre, said Michelle had to deal with something urgent. He asked again about how many windows I got over 10 years old. I asked where they were calling from, said West Regent St Glasgow. Then he asked my postcode and I asked if he meant their HQ. Turns out he meant where he was calling from. Then the caller just ended the call. Weird situation.

Green tRust - I told them my windows were more than 10 years old and had a good chuckle. Actually, they’re about 180 years old, being in a Georgian flat. They just ended the call. Proper con artists.

My daughter’s been getting calls non-stop from this company - just got another one today after they kept ringing her yesterday and on several other days too. Every time she tells them to stop and remove her number, but they just don’t listen. As soon as she blocks one number, they switch to another to keep calling. They promised massive discounts, even though my daughter made it clear she can’t pay anything more than zero, not for a couple of days, let alone years. They called twice more within a few minutes, once it was just dead silence. I told them off pretty bluntly. I’m guessing they’ll keep calling and being nasty. If it doesn’t stop, I’ll ask my phone company to block their number.

Proper harassment! I know the 'Green Deal' is just a sales trick used by dodgy double glazing companies like Anglian Windows, Penicuik, St Andrews Glazing and the like. Best steer clear of those lot entirely!!

They chat you up with promises of free cash through their so-called "recycling plan", but then hit you with sky-high prices, trying to make you believe that 80% discount is some golden deal. Plus, they take a deposit that you can't get back, and never bother to mention that upfront! Best to steer clear and keep adding them to your block list.

Got a call from these lot and told em I wasn’t interested, they started shouting at me. Kept ringing all day saying they’d blocked my number and my Sky account. I ended up calling the police who told me to ring Sky. Sky then put a block on my phone so now anyone calling has to say who they are first, you can hear them but they can’t hear you till you let them in. If you don’t know them just hit the hash key, if it’s family or someone you trust press one or star to talk. Hope this helps others. They said they were from some home saving company, Glasgow area code.

But then they claimed they couldn’t find the place, and we told them not to bother as we’d decided against it. Since that day, they’ve been phoning us about 4 times daily. I’ve blocked this number, yet they keep calling from a withheld number so it’s impossible to block. They get quite rude and just won’t accept no for an answer. We’re older and ended up getting drawn into this. Please be careful with these folks.

Got a call from this number. A guy with a Glasgow accent was asking about my windows. Claimed he worked for the 'Heating Savings Centre,' which apparently represents about fifteen double glazing firms, like Anglian and Penicuik Windows. Had to really press him to get that info because he kept going on about some scrappage deal that might get me a discount on new windows. But when I kept questioning him about this 'Heating Savings Centre,' he just cut the call.

Got a call from some company trying to sell window funding, kept pestering me even after I said no. I ended up just hanging up. Then, not long after, they called twice more but from different mobile numbers. Within a couple of minutes, a fourth call came through from yet another landline. Feels like this is bordering on harassment! To make matters worse, this is my small business number they’re bombarding, which is super annoying since it interrupts me when I’m with actual clients.

My wife eventually ended the call. Now, they’re calling like 3 or 4 times a day, almost every day except Sunday. I just ignore it now. Been flooded with calls from this number, really pushy trying to get me to let them give a quote saying “we’re only around today.” If it’s connected to St. Andrews windows, steer clear! The woman on the phone had a Glaswegian accent and kept saying they were nearby today, asking when we’d be in. She was quite insistent trying to get my details. Definitely felt a bit dodgy and made me uncomfortable.

Got a ring from a bloke called Anthony who spoke English about some Government scheme to swap out old doors and windows. He wasn’t pushy or anything, if he was I’d have told him off quite quickly but for now I’m waiting on another call to set up a meeting. After seeing what people have said on 'Who-Called', I’m gonna say no thanks to that deal. Cheers to everyone for sharing their thoughts here.

Called me earlier. Rude bloke asking for personal details. I blocked the number straight away. You should try BT’s call guardian, it’s really good at blocking these types of calls.

Had a call earlier today, bloke said he wasn’t after my cash, then started talking about some deal for doors and windows. I just said “no cheers” and ended the call. But he kept ringing back like 6 times, always calling again as soon as it went to voicemail. In the end, I left the phone off the hook. Proper annoying!!!

This number 01415360226 kept ringing me non-stop like 4 times in 4 minutes. They never said a word though. Pretty sure they called me yesterday too but I didnt bother looking it up then. When I picked up the first time it was a woman from Glasgow who sounded alright. I asked her a quick question about what they were selling and she just couldn't give me an answer and hung up. Guess I dodged a bullet there!

Really terrible folks. Loads of bad reviews about their windows work online. They operate using different business names, one of which is 'St Andrews Property Development'. They use pushy sales tactics.

Had some total nutter calling me out, shouting my name and where I live, just throwing abuse about dogs at me.

Best thing is to record these calls and get the police involved. Keep a note of the number and any things they say, like threats or weird questions. I got a call like this about some Windows refund deal, asking for all sorts of personal details like my house number, who lives there and if I work. When I wouldn’t answer, the bloke got really rude and aggressive. They’re clearly up to no good and want info for some reason. Don’t let them scare you, make sure to record it, report the call and block the number.

Got a couple calls from someone offering £500 off new windows or doors, said it was some gov recycling program or something. They started asking loads of personal stuff. I feel a bit daft for chatting with them now. Really hope they just leave me alone after this.

Don’t get caught up in their sales talk, they tell you so many fibs. I never pick up my landline now if it’s someone I don’t know. Be careful and don’t buy into any of their ‘special offers’. Just block this number and tell your mates and family about it.

Just got in and seen this number on my landline. I’ve dealt with these lot before, St Andrews home improvements, they do windows. Don’t waste your time with them, they’re just trying to con you with their sales talk. It’s a total rip-off.

My gran, she’s 83 and has dementia, keeps getting calls from these lot. I grabbed her phone today, asked them who they were and told them to leave her alone, but they just hung up on me. It’s really awful how they prey on someone who’d probably give away everything she’s got without a second thought. Proper disgusting behaviour.

A company from Glasgow keeps ringing me about Windows, it’s happening every couple of days. I’ve already asked them loads of times to take my number off their list but they just keep calling anyway. Really annoying.

I had a call from this number but it ended before I got a chance to pick up. Being disabled, I stay close to my phone, so it felt like I was being deliberately blocked from answering. It’s quite upsetting, as it feels like discrimination towards disabled people like me who use the phone. It’d be great if this site could offer some advice on how to block nuisance numbers or how to report them to phone providers, rather than just pushing products all the time.

I got called like 5 times all in one day! At first they sounded quite polite, but then when I tried to ask them stuff, they got really rude. They kept saying I’d called them before about windows, which is totally not true as I haven’t reached out to any of these firms. I told them I wasn’t interested and that I’d be looking into the offer they mentioned from Energy Scotland, so fingers crossed they don't bother me again. Seriously, don’t let these people into your house.

I just let it ring and when it goes to the answerphone they hang up straight away. If they don’t bother leaving a message I reckon it’s a scam. If it’s someone legit, they leave a message, so only then do I bother to call back. This method has really helped reduce the number of annoying calls we get.

I got about 8 calls in just 15 minutes from 0141-536 0226. I didn't even pick up the last few, just let it ring, but they kept coming. The bloke sounded aggressive, really intimidating on the phone. He was shouting about me to someone else he had with him and kept mentioning my house number out loud. Honestly, just steer clear of this one if you want to avoid stress.

I got loads of calls from 0141-536 0226, like about 8 in 15 minutes. On the last three, I just let it ring out, but they still kept going. The bloke sounded really intimidating and was proper rude, yelling things at someone he had with him in the background. He kept shouting my house number over and over, which was pretty creepy. Honestly, just block and don’t pick up if this number pops up - it’s not worth the hassle.
