Got a call from a lady saying she was from Amazon, warning me about some weird activity on my account. She claimed an order worth over £700 had been made and unless I cancelled it with her, I’d be billed. I wasn’t about to give her any details and told her Amazon wouldn’t contact me like that, so I didn’t believe a word. She kept insisting and even threatened the charge if I didn’t cooperate, but I cut her off and ended the call. Avoid this number - it’s definitely a scam!

They didnt say who they were or leave any voicemail, so there was no way to know if I should bother answering. After reading other comments about this number, I've gone ahead and added it to my block list.

Got a call from a bloke with a heavy Asian accent who asked me, "Who am I speaking to?" I just bounced the question back, saying "Who am I speaking to?" Then he said his name was Mark and he was from the National Claims Helpline. Yeah right, I just told him I know what he was up to and ended the call.

Fraud Alert! Just got a dodgy call about accident claims - they claimed to be from India and their English was pretty shoddy. The number they were using was one from Glasgow, but it felt off. If you get a call from them, throw them a curveball and ask which river flows through Glasgow. You’ll see them scramble for an answer!

I got a call from a guy with an Indian subcontinent accent, said he was with a claims company based in Glasgow G2. He told me I could get compensation for a no-fault accident supposedly within the last couple of years. Thing is, I just had a no-fault claim not long ago, so I challenged him on that. Pretty sure he was just fishing for info, so I kept things tight and said very little. If he rings again, I’ll definitely give him a piece of my mind!

The call lasted about a minute, they used my name and mentioned they were from some National Claims company, something like NC. I told them I wasn't making any claims and ended the call. Going to block that number now.

The woman, she spoke with a Scottish accent and called herself “Carrieann.” She was going on about checking if I was receiving all the funding I should be entitled to.
