He was asking for Mr Davis. I asked if it was some solar panel rubbish cos I get those calls all the time, but nah, not today - it was the old road accident trick. I just told him 'that same old story' and told him to have a good one before slamming the phone down - what a muppet!

I told this bloke he was breaching direct marketing rules, as they’d got my info from a claims database meant to help insurers fight fraud, not for dodgy accident management firms to pester people. I also mentioned it’s against legal professionals’ guidelines to take on cases found through this kind of cold calling. He snapped back rudely, saying I had no clue and that they’d got my details from my insurer. I told him he was talking nonsense since I work at that insurer and know they don’t share info like that. I ended the call there.

They said they were from National Claims Helpline, trying to get me to make a claim for a car accident where I got rear-ended. I kept telling them I wasn’t interested and that they should take me off their list, but the calls kept coming. I even warned them I’d report them to the FCA since these claims firms have to follow rules from them. Eventually, I just had to hang up. What’s annoying is if you block one number, they ring from another after a while.

These calls are pure spam. Someone rang me claiming I'd reported a car crash in the past two years, which I definitely haven't. Usually, they back off quick and say "have a nice day," but this bloke was relentless. I finally told him straight up, no accidents for me or my family, and that he was clearly trying to scam me. Can't imagine how they feel about bothering people like this, it's total harassment.
