I got a recorded call claiming HMRC was onto me for some tax fraud. It was one of those robotic voices, quite scary at first, but I soon figured it was a scam. Definitely a dodgy automated message trying to freak you out.

This number just rang me as well but didn’t bother leaving any voicemail. Feels a bit dodgy, if it was legit surely they’d have said something? I’m just going to block it.

Whenever I get told “you’ve reached the wrong number, please double check and try again,” I can’t even leave the right number because then they just block me straight away. It’s so frustrating!
