I received a rather unexpected phone call from someone purporting to be from a medical service, who wanted to discuss the ongoing pandemic. They offered me a neck alarm, which sounded quite suspect, if you ask me. The chap had a noticeable Indian accent, and I can’t shake the feeling that this was a scam attempt. There are several aspects of the conversation that raised my eyebrows.

she claimed i could save money on my house insurance so i told her i bank with coutts and even gave my bus pass number. she then asked why i was fibbing, so i told her i was just messing about. took about six and a half minutes in the end - job done!

Got a call from some “Michelle” offering a discount on home appliance insurance. I told her I don't even have that kind of insurance and called her out for being a fraud. She then just cut the call!

I received a call from a number I didn't recognise, and as soon as I picked up, they hung up. I have a strong feeling this could be some dodgy character or perhaps a scam artist. Definitely not giving them any of my time!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with medical services, said they wanted to offer me an alarm to wear on my wrist or neck due to the pandemic. The guy sounded like he was Indian, which made me a bit suspicious, felt like a scam to me. I know you can get those alarms from your local council or social services anyway. So, I just told him I wasn’t interested and ended the call.
