I've received a staggering six calls in just two days from this lot. No matter how often I block their number, they seem to keep ringing from a variation of digits - it’s maddening! This morning, I was rudely jolted awake by one of their calls coming in at an absurdly early hour. Some calls are eerie, too - there's no one at the other end, merely a distant hum of voices in the background. When I do get someone on the line, they immediately request to verify my name and address. That’s when I firmly tell them to take me off their list and promptly end the call. On one particular occasion, I tried to ascertain who they were and why they were bothering me, only to have them abruptly hang up without so much as a word. Quite infuriating!

I had a rather peculiar encounter with a chap insisting his name was Dennis, who seemed rather eager for a natter with me. I politely declined his offer, and, lo and behold, he actually managed to end the call before I could even react! I must say, given that he was using a landline while I was on my mobile, I found it quite astonishing. I've now taken to referring to him as ‘Dennis the Swift’ - quite possibly the speediest telemarketer to ever cross my path!

I've put a stop to this number completely. They were evasive about which company they represented. Despite my clear request for them to stop, they kept pushing for information. So, I firmly told them to cease contact and asked to be taken off their list. They rang me at 12:44, 13:48, and 14:12, which was quite frustrating. The caller fumbled with my name and seemed to have my address. They were probing for my age as well, likely to tailor their data for another scam - utterly INFURIATING!

An Asian male and female rang me three times today, but their English wasn't great, and they struggled to pronounce my name correctly. They seemed to have a few questions, but to be honest, I had no idea what they were on about. I eventually snapped and told them to do one; I was fed up with their constant pestering!

So, I was doing a bit of digging on this phone number, and when I asked the lady if she could take me off her calling list, she seemed rather puzzled and asked, "Why?"
