The chap claimed the company's name is "Energy-Solutions.co.uk" based in Rochester, which corresponds to the 01634 area code. Now, a word to the wise: it's crucial to verify that any installers are properly registered to handle solar panel installations. You can do this at www.recc.org.uk/scheme/members. During our conversation, he mentioned something about a "passive system that also conserves gas" and that it “gathers data from the Met Office.” Really? Data for my specific location? Sounds a tad dubious to me. It seems more like a temperature gauge for the boiler outdoors. I remain sceptical about the whole data collection aspect. The caller identified himself as Sam.

Received a call from this number earlier today. I tried ringing back while shielding my number and got a pre-recorded message stating that extension 1000 was busy. We’re on the Telephone Preference Service and are also ex-directory, so there shouldn't be any legitimate company reaching out to us. If they’re peddling solar panels, that’s quite likely against the rules.

They're certainly not benefiting the solar sector in any way. I got another call at half-past three, but it was just dead air. Like Stuart mentioned earlier, when I tried to ring back, I reached extension 1000 only to be told that the mailbox is full and can't take any more messages. Furthermore, I’ve had no luck finding this number listed with the Micro-generation Certification Scheme. On top of that, I had a chat with the firm whose website they provided. To cut a long story short, they occasionally get "bursts" of complaints directed at them. Even though they’re associated with the energy and solar business, they don't handle installations for residential properties.
