I mostly get calls like this on my phone. I couldn't pick up in time but glad I checked the comments. Neither DVLA nor my car insurance company have this number on file, so I reckon they got it from something I did a couple of years back. I had thought I was gonna be paid for doing some market surveys, but it’s clear now it was just a trick to grab my info and hand it over to scammers.

Got fed up with this accident claim lot ringing non-stop, lost my cool with the lady on the other end earlier. I’ve reported them to the ICO before, genuinely sick of the hassle, but shouting at her did me some good. Another number added to the block list for the same nonsense. It’s just pure annoyance. Seems like it’s the insurers or DVLA leaking info again, no surprise our insurance gets more expensive all the time.

I’m not quite sure. I didn’t pick up. Over the past few days, I’ve been getting calls from a number that looked pretty similar, which I ended up blocking since they seemed like those dodgy ambulance chasing scammers.
