6 yearsGot a dodgy call claiming it was HMRC saying there was a fraud investigation against me. It was a robotic voice telling me to press 1 to sort it out, but I know HMRC only ever send letters, never call you out of the blue. Checked the official Gov.uk site to be sure. If you do press 1, they put you through to an expensive premium number and keep you on the line to charge you loads. Definitely a scam trying to rip people off with huge phone bills.HMRCGov. ukSubmit Your Own Report (0141 520 0294)
