CAUTION!!! I received a call on my mobile at 16:59 on the 24th of June 2020 - the moment I answered, an automated voice declared “Her Majesty (sic) Revenue and Customs…” which prompted me to hang up immediately! This is undeniably a scam, as the genuine HMRC wouldn't mix up the terminology of their department in such a manner!
