Had a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be Paul White from TalkTalk. My internet’s been really patchy and slow lately, so I was a bit hopeful at first. But when he asked me to switch on my computer so he could sort it out, I got suspicious - my PC was already on, so I just turned it off and ended the call. Didn’t feel right at all.

I keep getting calls supposedly from TalkTalk, but it’s a scam trying to trick you into letting them into your computer. They want you to switch on your PC so they can mess about with your hard drive. Luckily, my lad’s a computer engineer, so I know my machine is safe and nothing dodgy is going on. These scammers are really nasty and need to be shut down. They also mess around with some of the numbers, but most of the time the caller ID starts with 014.

I've been plagued by calls from some dubious lot claiming to be from Talk Talk, insisting there's an issue with my router. Their angle? They want you to fire up your computer so they can supposedly fix things from a distance. Quite the cheek, isn't it? They’ve rung me more than forty times, despite my firm requests for them to cease contacting me-I’m well aware that they’re not affiliated with Talk Talk at all. Every time, it’s the same scenario, with an Asian voice on the line. It really is baffling that they keep my number on their list and persist in harassing me, despite my clear objections. If you receive a call from this number, I would strongly advise you to ignore it entirely.

It came up saying it was TalkTalk, but clearly it was a scam.

I've been receiving calls from this number every day, but it's as if no one's on the line-just a load of background chatter. It's really quite bothersome!

I answered the phone but there was no reply. I had already spoken to TalkTalk earlier and gave them a proper telling off. Really fed up with them ringing me constantly.

just got a phone call from someone claiming to be talktalk saying my internet was running slow. they started asking me questions but i told them i wasn’t the one on the account. then they asked who was the account holder, and i said “well, shouldn’t you already know?” they sounded really puzzled and kept asking “you think i should know that?” yeah, definitely one of those scam calls.

Got a call from someone with a strong Indian accent claiming to be from TalkTalk, using a very English name. They kept trying to tell me they needed to access my computer "to fix it". I just kept them talking for ages to waste their time. Eventually, when they figured out I wasn’t going to fall for it, they hung up. Honestly, the best thing is to just block the number straight away.

I got a call claiming to be from TalkTalk saying there was an issue with my computer. When I told them that if there was a problem, I'd contact TalkTalk directly, they just ended the call. The day before, a different number called with the same story - and when I checked that number, it turned out to belong to some builders in Wales! Honestly, it's so frustrating getting all these fake TalkTalk calls.

I received a couple of calls from this number today. I picked up, but chose not to say anything. I heard a voice say hello, but the din in the background made me suspect it was a call centre operation. I promptly hung up without engaging further.

I picked up the call but stayed quiet. I couldn’t hear anything from their end, no noise, no voice, then the line just went dead.
