Today, in just about an hour, I got two calls from numbers I don’t recognise, on a phone number hardly anyone has since I usually use a different one for calls. Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE (though some folks say it’s O2). They wanted to switch my EE plan to some “EE promotional account”. When I told them I didn’t trust it and asked why they’d offer a £10 discount when I’m happily paying £21 a month and only started this contract a month ago, the bloke just hung up on me!
