Got a call from some scammer pretending to be English, but with a heavy Indian accent, calling herself "Margaret". Do these people honestly believe we're that gullible? Blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone claiming they could give me a massive 40% discount on my mobile plan, with unlimited calls and texts plus a huge allowance for calls abroad - like 5000 minutes or something. They kept pushing hard even when I told them I’m actually switching to another provider soon, trying to get me to sign up anyway. It was a woman with an Indian accent who had no clue what my name was, what kind of SIM I had, where I lived, or what plan I’m currently on. Definitely felt like a total scam to me.

Received a call from someone with a thick foreign accent, claiming to be from O2 regarding my account. The thing is, I don't even have an account with O2! When I pointed out that she was trying to pull a fast one, she promptly hung up on me. Quite shady if you ask me!

A woman with an Indian accent called me, thinking I was a Three Mobile customer, even though she had no idea who I was. She was trying to offer me some sort of discount. I told her straight away to remove my number from their list. Definitely not Glaswegian!

The number was unfamiliar to me and when I picked up, there was silence on the other end. That made me check this website straight away, and sure enough, it turned out to be a scam call, so I blocked it.
