The salesperson was rather convincing, but when I expressed that I had no need for such a device, he practically suggested I was inviting disaster. While he mentioned the pendant would be free, they wanted £39.99 a month for the service. I pointed out that this is actually more than my current electricity bill! He seemed quite determined to obtain my date of birth and other personal information. I found out the company is located on Pall Street in London, and to top it off, the number couldn’t be dialled back as it was strictly meant for outgoing sales calls.
