I received a rather pushy phone call from someone named Matthew. He claimed to be reaching out regarding an event we attended, but it quickly became apparent he'd mixed up the city entirely. To make matters worse, he referred to our managing director using a nickname that nobody ever uses - very odd indeed! He asserted that the MD had instructed him to call me, but I knew that was absolute nonsense. It felt like he was attempting to trip me up based on our previous conversations; only trouble is, he wasn’t really paying attention. I attempted to ring back to lodge a complaint about his conduct, but the line went dead. Quite the strange experience!
