3 yearsI received a call on 17th August 2023 from someone named Gary McAvoy, who claimed he was representing the ST Group. However, when I pressed him on what they actually do, he became rather evasive, simply referring to their work as 'some tasks for the Federation of Small Business.' When I inquired further, he promptly shut down the conversation citing GDPR regulations. He mentioned it was related to alterations concerning our KA postcode but left me feeling rather sceptical. Overall, it seemed like a complete waste of time and I’m not convinced he was being truthful.Gary McAvoyST GroupFederation of Small Business3 yearsGot a call from someone claiming they're with the Federation of Small Business offering free surveys. Definitely a scam, don't fall for it.Federation of Small Businesses4 yearsI received a call claiming to be a courtesy check, with the caller insisting that the owner needed to speak about Openreach/BT and the impending shutdown of the ISDN lines. I informed him that the owner wasn’t in at the moment, and he hurriedly replied that he’d ring back the next day. Before I had the chance to clarify things, he abruptly ended the call. Quite impolite, if you ask me!OpenreachBT4 yearsIt's a bit of a joke, really. They're just an Openreach/BT outfit attempting to entice folks into switching to VoIP services.
