Got a call out of nowhere saying I’d been in a car crash? Didn’t make sense to me at all, so I just told them to buzz off.

Got another call from these clowns, even though I've already blocked a bunch of similar numbers. This time a woman said I'd been in some kind of accident. That was a surprise, cos I’d never heard anything about it before. Seems like someone’s been leaking my info. Told her I’d be reporting them to the info commissioner, and then she just cut me off.

Got a call outa nowhere from someone saying there’d been a car crash involving me. Proper threw me off at first, thought it was some kind of scam to be honest. Took a minute to realise they were actually legit, but was nervy the whole time till I got more details. Wouldn’t want to get a call like that again without some warning!

This number rang me twice in just over half an hour. My phone was on silent so I didn't notice, but I was out grabbing lunch with some mates, wouldn’t have picked up anyway. Seeing the comment below, looks like it could be the same dodgy lot who tried to scam me from a Glasgow number that was only slightly different last week. Honestly, I can’t believe they think someone would fall for it after the roasting I gave the woman on the phone then. You’d think they’d have the sense not to try me twice!
