They recently came under fire on BBC Disclosure for peddling trust deeds under dubious pretences, and more recently their content popped up on BBC Panorama. The Financial Conduct Authority has even flagged concerns over John MacDonald and his erstwhile partner, Robert Nimmo, all because of their sketchy advertisements swirling around on TikTok. I received a phone call from McKenzie Finance concerning my repayment plan for a credit/loan. It seems they were reaching out on behalf of Richmond Oaks, and I suspect they may have obtained my information from Back to Black.

dodgy call! They claimed to be from some credit repair company and somehow knew about our IVA. Then they started asking about our mortgage info - even named the lender! We haven't been with that credit agency for ages. No idea where they got our info from, but this is definitely a scam!

steer well clear of alan harty. he likes to put the blame on aperture for the mess that was his old business, but in truth the iva cases he was pushing on them were totally dodgy. when aperture caught wind of this, they did the right thing and cut ties immediately.

I got a call and a message from someone claiming to be a loan specialist. I asked right away how they got hold of my phone number. They told me it came from a credit repair company because I wasn’t eligible for an IVA. They’ve reached out a few times and seem alright, but I’ve been asking loads of questions just to feel sure. Apparently, it’s a loan secured against my property, so I’m being cautious and hearing them out before making any decisions.

Some daft lady from your expert mob called me from this number tryin to flog me a loan on me house. I told her straight up, ye eejit, that’s a total break of the g.d.p.r. If ye dinnae shape up, even a simple minded telemarketer could end up hijackin your landline.

Got a call from McKenzie Finance, saying they were ringing for Richmond Oaks. Apparently, they nabbed my info from Back to Black or something like that. Bit sketchy if you ask me.

got a call from 0141 471 4545, it was mckenzie finance. they left a voicemail mentioning some credit card and loan debts i apparently have. weird thing is, they were suggesting i take out a bigger loan with them or something! quite suspicious if you ask me.
