Somebody with a foreign accent called saying she worked for Beneficial, a company based in the UK, and wanted me to complete a quick survey. I told her I wasn’t up for it, but she kept pushing, so I ended the call and then blocked the number.

Received a call from 0141 456 8134 today. A man with an Asian accent was trying to get me to verify my personal info. Weirdly, he already knew my name, phone number, and even my home address! When I asked where he got my details from, he just stayed quiet but kept pushing me to answer his questions. I had to tell him at least three times that I wasn’t going to share any info and to make sure he erased my data. Then he just hung up on me. Properly annoyed about this whole situation.

Got a call from an Asian call centre, and the person on the other end spoke in really poor English. She claimed it was some kind of market research and kept pushing me to share personal info. When I asked what the info was for, she said it was to add me to a list that could be useful to me. I just thanked her and hung up, then blocked the number straight away. A few days earlier I had the same experience, but they called from another phone number.
