Loads of calls keep coming through from somewhere in Glasgow, always with the same area code but the last digits change. My phone flags it as possible fraud, so I just ignore them. I only pick up if I’m actually waiting for someone to ring me.

There's this firm named Beneficial that keeps ringing me from different numbers. It seems like all the callers are from Southeast Asia. They’re always keen on getting you to participate in some sort of survey. Despite me making it abundantly clear that I’m not interested, they persist with their calls, and a few have even become rather aggressive when I decline to engage. Now, whenever I pick up and hear it’s Beneficial on the line, I simply tell them to shove off!

I received a call from this number, but as soon as I picked up, they hung up. It’s happened before with other Glasgow-based numbers, usually involving some survey nonsense. I reckon it’s just a bunch of scammers trying to fish for personal details. Best to give them a wide berth and not engage. Typical behaviour from this sort, if you ask me!
