So these people are debt collectors for eon next or something, they’ve been texting me about money my dad supposedly owes, but he passed away 2 years ago. When I called them up, they suddenly said there’s no debt at all. Bit weird if you ask me.

over the last week i got a few calls i didn’t pick up. today, i got a message telling me to check portal pastdue[###] to find out why they called or ring 0141 447 0546. needless to say, i blocked that one straight away.

They left a voicemail asking me to ring them back, so I called the number and it just put me on hold with music playing. Considering the other comments, I’m going to just ignore this one.

Bloody hell, they called me at 07:59 on a Monday morning - bit eager, aren’t they? They wanted my details, so I asked what for. They said it was about a dispute with Eon, but I told them I wasn’t interested and ended the call. Luckily, I can block their number on my phone. I’m a landlord and they’re after a tenant’s unpaid bill but in my name. Both they and Eon know this, but it seems they don’t care - they just want their money back. I’m just going to keep blocking their number and let them get on with it. They’ll get annoyed, not me.

this number keeps ringing me but i never pick up. i just dont answer calls from unknown numbers. they never bother to leave a voicemail either. i do have a bill with eon but i’m not sorting it out through these callers. cheers for all your input, i’m going to block them now.

Got calls and messages about debts from some company claiming to be e.on at first, then they say it’s a ‘debt collection’ agency. Loads of letters, texts, even emails and phone calls. Looks like they might be using info from a hack on e.on back in early 2017. Be careful and double check where these calls and messages are coming from. They only seem to know your name and number. Definitely a big con.

Got a call from a bloke with a Scottish accent saying he was from Eon about a business account. Thing is, I don't have any account with Eon, let alone a business one. He then started threatening me out of nowhere. I told him to send me everything in writing to whatever company and address he had on file, then he just hung up. No business here, so good luck with that scam mate!

this number has been calling me loads this week! i purposely havent picked up after reading what others said about it and looking it up online. google says it belongs to a company called pdcs (pastdue credit solutions ltd), which is a debt collection agency from glasgow, uk. if you, like me, dont owe anything, just dont bother answering these calls.

Called like three days running by some lot claiming to be from Eon. Problem is, I've never had anything to do with Eon at all. They keep banging on about some debt I supposedly owe, which makes no sense since I've never been a customer. Honestly, it's getting really annoying having them hassle me like this.

I got a call where the person didn’t even bother to say who they were and straight away asked for personal details, saying the call was being recorded. When I asked to listen to the recording, they refused flat out. They kept mentioning Eon, but I told them I have no account with them. It felt like they were speaking a different language because the bloke was so adamant I was with them. I told them if they called again, I’d report it as harassment to the police. Don’t be scared to jot down their number and tell the police about the harassment. Also, demand they take your info out of their system, then report it again if needed. This kind of behaviour needs to be shut down - they’re just bullies, not decent people.

They kept asking for my name, address and other personal info, claiming there was some problem with E-On. But they refused to explain what the problem was until I gave them my details. It was like they couldn't understand simple English. Obviously I didn't share anything at all. They already have my number, so why would they need more info if there’s no actual problem?

So I got a call about some debt for Eon, and thankfully the guy on the phone was pretty nice. He actually took the time to hear me out, which was a surprise because dealing with Eon has been such a nightmare. He even admitted Eon’s been a bit difficult, so that was quite refreshing.

On the 1st of Nov 2017, I got a call on a line set up for an international charity. The person on the phone was trying to fish out my personal info. Just a heads up - this sounds like a risky scam, so watch out for it.

So, PDCS (Past Due Credit Solutions) isn’t some dodgy scam call. They’re basically debt collectors for utility firms. From what I’ve dealt with, they’ve been pretty decent and respectful. Never once got a text from them - it’s usually been through emails or letters. Just folks doing the tough job of chasing up what’s owed.
