2 yearsI got a call from someone claiming to be from an appliance repair company saying they'd accidentally overcharged me and wanted to give me back £149. The phone rang from a very noisy call centre and the whole thing felt really dodgy. They said there was a refund due, but couldn’t specify which card or account had been overcharged, or even which appliance I’d supposedly bought.
