Got a call from a bloke claiming he was from BT, saying my IP address was at risk. He tried to get me to look up my IP on Google. I played along for a little while before telling him “you reckon I’m daft, don’t you?” and he just hung up. Just so you know, I’m not even a BT customer. Don’t fall for this lame scam.

Got a call from a bloke claiming he was from BT, saying my IP had been hacked. He asked me to Google my IP address. I played along for a while then told him he must think I’m daft. He just hung up. Oh, and FYI, I’m not even a BT customer. Definitely steer clear of this obvious con.
