A caller said they were from Microsoft. I told them straightaway it was a scam, but he kept insisting it wasn’t. He reckoned I was driving since he could hear my fan running in the background and told me to stop the car and pay attention. When I said my laptop hasn’t been switched on for ages and I wasn’t going to follow any of his instructions, he just ended the call. Honestly, if an older person had got through to him, I’d be worried - he came off as pretty threatening.
