When i get calls like this, i usually ask them to wait a bit and then put the phone down for a while. After roughly 10 minutes, i pick it up again, and if theyre still there, i ask for another 5 minutes. Then i hang up after that and say somethin like, "do you enjoy wasting your time like this?" its funny to see how long they stick around just to annoy ya.

This number has been ringing my mum at least twice every day this week, even though she’s told them to stop. Tonight she just ended the call ‘cos they were really rude and kept ignoring her refusals. My mum struggles with her mental health, so this is really upsetting for her. I had to step in when they called again ten minutes later and explained she isn’t interested. The guy on the phone was cheeky and insisted she’d asked for a callback, which she definitely didn’t. My mum even took the phone to say no herself, but he ignored her and said he’d ring back, then hung up after I said I’d be speaking to his manager. I’m honestly fuming with how they’re handling this and really want to talk to someone in charge!

Cheers for all the feedback here. I've been getting loads of calls daily from this number lately. Since I deal with bad anxiety and depression, random unknown numbers ringing me is really stressful. Got a call from this number while I wasn’t home, and 1471 helped me figure out who it was. My number’s actually on the Telephone Preference Service to prevent marketing calls, but they keep coming through anyway. Just last week, I got one of these annoying calls from a guy with a Pakistani accent trying to push some “investments” that apparently give 30 to 40% returns annually. Didn’t fall for it at all, but I bet some folks might and end up losing everything. Funny thing, the guy couldn’t even properly explain why he was so desperate to sell me the deal!
