Got a call from a woman named Lily, who spoke with a strong Indian accent. She said she was from BT Openreach and mentioned some issues with my broadband that she was going to sort out. I reckon it’s just a trick to get me to hand over details so they can gain access to my computer and do dodgy stuff. I told her my number’s on the TPS list and then she just ended the call. This isn’t the first time today either - earlier, a bloke rang from 01483 548394, same scam different number, same spiel.
