Got a call from a woman with an Asian accent who asked for me by name, talking about some utility installation at a place where I volunteer. She wasn’t very clear and mumbled quite a bit. Before I could say much, she just said she’d ring back later and hung up. Funny thing is, the number was from Glasgow, which is miles away from where the utility company’s office actually is.

Got a call from someone foreign, couldn't really understand what they were trying to say since my phone prompts me to ask who's calling first. After that, all I could hear was loud banging about seven or eight times. It honestly sounded like it was coming from a construction site or something like that.

Got a call from a woman asking if I was the treasurer for the church she mentioned. I told her no, then she asked if I could put her through to the treasurer. I explained she’d dialled a private number by mistake. She then asked me for the treasurer’s contact, but I refused. She said she’d try calling the church’s main number - nice try, but we don’t actually have one!
