This morning I got a call from this number saying they were from HMRC, warning me that my tax code was being used fraudulently and asking me to hit one immediately. I just hung up straight away. Seems unlikely HMRC would ring like that, and if they did, I reckon it’d be a proper person chatting live, not a recorded message.
