I received a rather suspicious call today from a robotic voice claiming to be from Ofcom, stating that my line had been involved in fraudulent activity and that they were planning to disconnect it. As soon as I heard that, I hung up, fully aware it was a scam. To make matters more puzzling, the number appears to be local, yet when I searched for information about it, there was absolutely nothing. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!
