Got a call from ESB Energy, a nice Irish bloke (makes sense since ESB is an Irish firm) trying to get me to switch for cheaper rates. This is the second time they’ve called today! They’re not dodgy, just a legit marketing call centre. Honestly, it’s more irritating than anything because you never asked for the call. Safe to pick up though, just say you’re happy where you are if you’re not interested in changing.

I got a call from this number but I didn’t pick up as I never answer calls from unknown or hidden numbers. If it’s important, they can leave a voicemail, but like most scam calls, they never bother. What’s odd is my phone showed the call was from Glasgow but when I looked up ESP Energy (which loads of others said the caller claimed to be), they’re actually in Shrewsbury and were shut when I got the call. Bit suspicious if you ask me, doesn’t take a genius to figure it out.
