To the person who suggested saying “the person doesn’t live here” - I actually did that, and they keep ringing anyway. I’ve been getting annoying calls about someone’s debt on my MOBILE. I told them it’s the wrong number and they promised to stop. But surprise surprise, my phone shows this BLOCKED NUMBER tries to call me about 4 times a day. If they were a proper company, they wouldn’t keep bothering a known wrong number. They’re just dodgy scammers, seriously, go get a proper job or something!

I received a barrage of calls from this number. After numerous attempts, someone finally had the nerve to ask if I was Mr Anderson. When I replied that I wasn’t, they inquired about my name. I’ve had it up to my eyeballs with these relentless calls! I absolutely don’t owe anyone a thing, and I’m well and truly fed up. I’ve blocked the number, but it’s just too much now!

I'm so annoyed with these calls, it's always some recorded message from BPO collections for someone who ain't me! They ring at all hours, even really early in the morning.

Got a call at half past eight in the morning, but the recorded message was really hard to hear. My other half called them back and they claimed it was about a debt linked to BT. He did have an agreement with BT once but cancelled it ages ago. Since he refused to confirm personal details, they said they’d send a letter. We’re going to get in touch with BT ourselves to sort this out.

No idea how they got my number but I’ve told them like 4 times now that Kirsty Judd doesn’t live here, yet I’m still getting called at least 3 times daily. I’ve even used the option to say the person isn’t at this address. Spoken to someone real twice but still no luck, been going on for nearly 5 months now.

Dodgy call - they were after some random person I’ve never even heard of. To me, it sounded like a phishing scam. When I told them I wasn’t who they wanted, they still tried to get my name. No way! I’m not that daft!

Fraudsters at work! They’re trying to track down someone I’ve never encountered before. It felt like a classic scam or phishing attempt, to be honest. When I informed them that I wasn’t the person they were after, they had the audacity to ask for my name. As if! Not a snowball's chance in hell! I’m certainly not as gullible as they seem to presume!

I've been getting calls and messages about my British Gas account. I reckon it's probably a scam since I don’t even have an account with them and there's no gas supply in my flat. British Gas have checked and confirmed I’m not a customer, so I’m really wondering where these people got my details from?

Got a call from some BPO asking about a woman I’ve no clue about supposedly lived here for over 10 years. My partner’s been here her whole life and never heard of her. Definitely a scam, this is the fifth call in just two days!

Got a call from a debt collector for Virgin Mobile, claiming I owe them for a phone, even though they stopped my contract early and wouldn’t offer me a new one. I’ve switched providers now.

Got a call from some BPO debt collectors claiming to be from Plusnet. Apparently, when you cancel with Plusnet, they make up fake accounts in your name and pass you on to a BPO for some made-up owing money. Honestly, Plusnet must be managed by the same clueless lot who once ran NTL.

Got a call from this number on Bank Holiday Monday around 11:32am. It just went to the answerphone, no message was left. Haven't had any other calls from them yet. Best not to pick up if you're unsure who it is.

I received a call from this number on Good Friday at 12:01 - rather peculiar timing, I must say! My number is unlisted, and I haven't shared it with any businesses or unfamiliar individuals. I'm baffled as to how they managed to obtain my details. What’s more, the caller didn’t utter a word during the call. Quite the mystery, isn't it?

I've just had a rather irritating automated call from this number. Just to clarify, I don't have any outstanding debts! If I receive another call from this company, I won't hesitate to lodge a complaint.

It was a BPO collections call, but I don’t owe anything. This is a brand new number and phone line. I spoke to them and asked nicely to take my number off their list, and they said they would. The guy I talked to was quite friendly. I’ll wait and see if they stop bothering me now. It’s a bit annoying that they have to do their job, but I suppose if folks aren’t paying up, there’s only so much you can do.

As someone who has a disability and cares for my seriously unwell wife, I'm finding it quite distressing to receive calls from this number, sometimes eight to ten times daily. When I called them back to inquire about their identity, they had the audacity to ask for my name. I made it clear they were the ones calling me, so it would only be courteous for them to reveal their purpose. They refused, and after gently requesting that they cease calling, I found myself blocked just minutes later! Is there a foolproof way to completely put an end to their incessant ringing?

It's pretty clear the person who posted on 14th January 2019 is working for some collections agency. Why else would they come on here to find a dodgy number and tell folks to pay up? Most likely, whoever posted actually owes money if those collectors are ringing them. I've had this number for just a couple of days and I definitely don't owe anything. It's so frustrating to get hassled by a company when you’re not even in their radar for debts.

Just got a new phone number and made sure it’s under a different name for safety, plus I’m on the TPS list, but somehow they knew my real name??? With my partner seriously ill in hospital, it’s really frightening. These lot should be thrown behind bars.

They've rung me for five days straight, never picked up and didn’t bother to leave a voicemail. If it was some legit debt collector, they’d have left a message by now. Plus, I’ve got no debts, CCJs or unpaid bills, so this call is definitely dodgy.

I had a chap on the line who started speaking, but then I got abruptly interrupted by some sort of automated system that was completely incomprehensible. To be honest, I'm baffled as to how they managed to ring my landline when I hardly ever use it!
