I’m really keen to find out who sold them my number. I’ve blocked this number along with others like: 020 3745 2534, 0191 426 5603, 0161 381 0002, 0131 6205 769, and 0131 620 5769. They’ve been ringing me almost every day, sometimes twice a day, since 21st May 2018. Now it’s 7th June 2018. One of the numbers still manages to get through even though I’ve blocked it. I tried calling Utilita, as the calls seem to come from there, but I couldn’t get through to actually ask them to stop contacting me. It’s really frustrating, especially since they always leave annoying automated voicemails!

Cheerful Geordie voice, which was strange since the caller ID showed Glasgow, asking for a Mr Carter. I just said he must have dialled the wrong number and ended the call as he began to speak. Happy I did after seeing the other comments! Blocked now.

Got a call for someone i don’t know, told them its a wrong number but they wouldnt say who they were. They tried to push a smart meter on me without even asking my name or address, just said they had folks in the area. Was on my mobile and away on holiday so seemed pretty dodgy to me.

They’re meant to be a gas & electric company, started the call by saying they’re giving a ‘Free Smart Meter upgrade’ but quickly switched to trying to sell their services.
