They've been ringing me at pretty much the same time every day all week. I picked up today and a bloke claimed he was from a road traffic accident firm. Then he put me onto a woman who said she'd send me compensation for a car crash, but needed to know if it was in 2015, 2016 or 2017. When I asked for more details about the accident, she said I was wasting her time and asked straight up if I’d had an accident or not. I said no, and before I could even say to stop calling her, she just hung up. Seems like total scammers though, they wouldn’t bother picking up if it was legit.

Should they genuinely want a chat, try replying in a silly accent or a made-up language-trust me, it’ll make them lose interest in no time! I used to receive those pesky calls about my 'failing' computer, and I’d just say, “Sorry, I don’t own one!” We’re not naive when we choose to engage with these callers; it’s just that common sense sometimes takes a back seat. Called around 6 in the evening, they knew my name already. Began going on about some car crash I supposedly had. I had nothing better to do and was feeling a bit cheeky, so I made up some wild story off the top of my head. Tried to make it sound believable and I guess it did the trick, they even said thanks after I spun a ridiculous tale about being knocked off by a milk cart on a narrow old bridge and ending up in hospital overnight.

Received another one of those pesky scam calls regarding a so-called "no blame" accident I’d recently been involved in. I played along for a moment before I let loose! Wasted no time in telling him exactly what I thought of him-called him a scamming, lowlife scoundrel and warned him I’d gladly take care of him if he continued. Like others have said, it smells like one of those insurance scam calls. Since then, the same number has called me three times more and I’ve ignored them all. I called this number back today after ringing it 7 times in the past two hours. When I called, to my surprise I got a recorded message allowing me to ask to be taken off their list. It only took a few seconds and it was done. Now fingers crossed it actually does the trick - hope this works! 🤞🤞

I just had a phone call from this number regarding a car accident I was in nearly a year and a half ago. They mentioned there’s an "undisclosed sum" owed to me. What a load of nonsense! Honestly, I’m not expecting any payout. The fault lay entirely with the other driver, and their insurance took care of my vehicle's repairs. Thankfully, I wasn’t hurt either. So, there’s no financial claim to make. I ended the conversation rather abruptly as they kept trying to keep me on the line-quite amusing, really!

Vultures! Absolute scoundrels! It’s high time these sorts of practices were outlawed. Why is it that our politicians can’t manage to do something worthwhile for a change? Perhaps they could hurry through a piece of legislation to criminalise these annoying calls… but I suppose they're off on yet another jolly!

I just received a call from this number regarding an accident that happened almost a year and a half ago. They claimed there’s some sort of “undisclosed sum” waiting for me. Absolute nonsense! There’s no cash headed my way at all. The other party was clearly in the wrong, and their insurance covered the repairs for my vehicle. I wasn’t hurt at all, so there’s no payout owed to me. Got a call today about a crash I supposedly was in, which I’ve never had anything to do with. When I asked where they got that info from, I told them straight up I’d never been in an accident. Then they just go, "Why haven’t you??!" and cut me off. Honestly, that felt proper intimidating, especially since they’re the ones ringing me! If you look up Roadcare Ltd on Endole, you get the managers’ names. Can’t be that difficult to ring them up instead of pestering random people like me.

Got a call from some scammer, they had my name and said they were from roadcare about an accident. Told them to stop calling me but they didn't listen. Kept saying it was about an accident. Told them again to not call me but they just kept going on so i just hung up. Absolute nightmare dealing with these scammers!!

The calls keep coming from a company called Roadcare, I think they’re based in Manchester, but this number is from Glasgow. I want them to stop ringing me because every time I block one number, they just switch to another after a couple of weeks. I don’t drive and definitely not the person they’re after. They ring me pretty much every single day. When I tried blocking their number, they actually left a message on my voicemail saying that if I wanted them to stop calling, I had to call back and ask to be removed from their list! That’s just so cheeky.

They rung me daily for like three weeks straight, finally picked up and they were asking for someone else entirely. Told them to take me off their list but they sorta just cut me off mid-chat. Have blocked them now. Total pain in the arse.

I keep receiving calls from this number around lunchtime, yet I haven't picked up any of them. I didn't recognise the number during their initial call, so I decided to do a bit of digging online. Turns out, many others have had similar issues with this number. The frustrating part is that my phone doesn't allow me to block these annoying calls!

Got a call on my mobile on the 3rd of August, which I usually keep just for mates and family. Didn't pick up, but since I get loads of these annoying calls I reckon these numbers are traded around between different pesty groups. Really appreciate having a site like this to check.

They keep ringing me like twice every week. Picked up once and an Indian lady started saying I'd been in some accident, talked about compensation stuff. I asked when did this happen, but she couldn’t answer, just kept insisting I had one. I joked maybe it was that head-on train crash? Then she got rude, swearing and really insulting. Told her not to bother me and she just hung up. Such nonsense! What’s the point of this? Proper blocked them now. Complete muppets!

I got a call from a woman from India who then handed me over to a guy named Shaun, said he was South African. He asked if I’d been in a car crash, which I had a few months ago, and said I might get another payout. Sounded fishy so I told him who my insurer was back then. They just hung up right after, never asked for bank info which was a relief. Seriously, block this number, it’s a scam - it showed up as a Glasgow number. How the heck do these people even get our numbers, emails - no clue. Stay safe everyone, don’t give out any details!

I've received numerous calls from a company named Roadcare. I've attempted to return the call, but all I get is some recorded message. I'm absolutely exasperated with them reaching out three or four times daily. I've had enough and decided to block their number.
