Over the past few days, I kept getting calls from this number, but they’d just cut off before I could say anything. Since I’m based near Glasgow, the area code wasn’t too surprising. Today I decided to hide my number and ring back. A young woman picked up, saying “Cozy Homes” or something like that. I asked why they kept calling and then hanging up on me. She asked for my number to take me off their list, but I told her no. I also mentioned my own greeting when I answered their calls, just to see if she’d admit anything. She flat out denied ever hanging up on anyone and claimed she calls loads of people every day. I told her if she’s bothering that many folks she might want to think about a proper job and then dropped the call on her. Not five minutes later, the same number rang me again - clearly they knew who it was. Didn’t pick up, blocked the number now and hope she’s had a rubbish day because of it!

Called me claiming it was a follow-up, but I honestly don’t remember any previous calls from them. They said I’d mentioned my boiler was over a decade old, which is rubbish because I never spoke to anyone before and my boiler’s definitely younger than ten years. Then they said, “If you tell us the exact age, we’ll remove you from the list.” Yeah, sure! I told them I’m on the TPS and that my boiler details are private, but before I could finish, they just hung up on me. Just a load of lies, nothing but dodgy behaviour.

I highly advise against picking up any calls from this firm. They've been relentlessly hounding me for months regarding a woman I’ve never had any dealings with. Despite their repeated assurances that my number would be taken off their list, the calls persist, coming from all sorts of similar numbers. One minute they claim to be a property firm, and the next they're presenting themselves as a solar energy business - it’s utterly baffling! I suspect they’re nothing more than loan sharks in disguise. When I attempted to return their call, the operator didn’t even mention their company's name. They merely pass the phone around uncomfortably when you request to speak to someone in charge. I’m currently looking into taking action against them. Best to steer clear!!!
