Got two calls from this number today and picked up each time. There’s a bit of noise going on in the background but then it just cuts out. I could catch them mentioning something about energy bills but they never actually spoke to me. Decided to block the number now.

Octopus Energy kept ringing me despite me clearly saying I’d just switched my energy provider and wasn’t interested. I told them to stop but they still called three more times within a day. On the last call, I said “You’ve called me four times in 24 hours. I already said I wasn’t looking to change suppliers, so please stop.” The guy then said, “Four times? You haven’t even spoken to me yet!” and carried on trying to sell me their stuff. Honestly, really pushy lot. They’ve made sure I won’t touch their service, no matter if they have a good deal down the line.

Got a call from Octopus Energy yesterday asking if I was still with EDF Energy, which I've never been a customer of. They claimed they could help me save on my energy bills. I ended the call straight away - definitely seemed fishy!
