Some bloke claiming to be from Microsoft told me my PC would get locked cause I wouldn’t help him out. He said I’d have to travel all the way to Redding to fix it, can you believe that? Still nothings happened. These scammers just try to scare you into blocking stuff but in the end, it’s all talk.

Some bloke with a foreign accent rang me claiming to be from Microsoft’s tech support, saying my licence was compromised. I told him Microsoft don’t call people out of the blue, according to their official site. He insisted they only ring for urgent issues and told me to log in somewhere. I just kept him on the line for a good five minutes, and he warned that if I didn’t act, my licence would get blocked. I told him I’d had loads of calls with the same story before, and then he just hung up on me.

Some bloke with a weird accent claimed to be from Microsoft’s tech support - but honestly sounded like one of those call centres in India just trying to scam you. I joked if their Microsoft scam made more dosh than the usual credit card scams, and he said he could check since he had my name and number. I just told him to sod off and quit wasting my time. When he warned me about swearing and said he’d block me, he hung up on me instead.
